You may always move up to a more competitive class
Archers who qualify for a particular division automatically are eligible for more competitive divisions if they choose to use them. For example, cadets are eligible to compete as Junior or Senior, Master 70+ are eligible to compete as Master or Senior as well.

The rules
of the NAA are that your age as of the last day of a given year
determines what JOAD division you belong in for that entire year.
